Tour Description

From Richard Avedon's "Beekeeper" to the selfies with your bff, creating images has always been important to personal expression. Come on an adventure with one of Philadelphia's own photographers and explore how art and photography continue to change and evolve. Guests can choose from one of the following tours: Contemporary Art in Philadelphia Photography in Philly Contemporary Art in Philly begins in Center City at The Center for Visual Artists, followed by the Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery, the Seraphin Gallery, and The Print Center. Photography in Philly starts at the Sol Mednick Gallery in Center City, followed by Photo Lounge. Afterwards, guests will have the opportunity to explore and take photographs in Center City and Rittenhouse Square, so bring a camera!

How it works

Step 1. Click 'Go Now' to request a tour that starts right away. Click 'Schedule Tour' to send a request for a time in the future.
*Your credit card will not be charged until the guide accepts the request.*

Step 2. If the guide is available, they will accept the tour request. Either way, we will notify you via email/text within 5 minutes for 'Go Now' requests and within 24 hours for 'Schedule Tour' requests.

Step 3. If you have chosen 'Go Now', your guide will immediately leave to come meet you and start your tour. If you have scheduled a tour, you'll receive a reminder 24 hours in advance of the start time

Step 4. After the guide accepts the tour request, we'll send you a text/email with a confirmation code. When the guide arrives, you'll give the guide that confirmation code to start the tour.
